6. My first migraine attack was: when I was 20, it was after a high tension event.
7. My most disabling migraine symptoms are: when the pain is so strong you can see straight and the ridiculous nausea
8. My strangest migraine symptoms are: the inability to speak clearly. Random words popping out
9. My biggest migraine triggers are: stress, weather changes, alcohol
10. I know a migraine attack is coming on when: yawn a lot, ears hurt
11. The most frustrating part about having a migraine attack is: inability to plan things in advance, you never know when your gonna have to bail.
12. During a migraine attack, I worry most about: my kids seeing me look so weak.
13. When I think about migraine between attacks, I think: fuck not again

29. Migraine and Headache Awareness Month is important to me because: people forget because this doesn’t kill us it doesn’t get hardly any research funding. It debilitates life. It needs to be fixed
30. One more thing I’d like to say about life with migraine is: it’s a solitary life of quiet and dark. It’s nice when you can get out once in a while
