Carnival of Compassion #20

The 20th edition of Carnival of Compassion is up at Colin’s Journal. All the patient blogs that Colin highlights have a common theme — they are all on diseases with no cure. He also includes blogs from nurses, a caregiver and some other resources.

Carnival of Compassion is a weekly roundup of the “best of” recent patient blog posts. It’s a great way to connect with others with life-changing illnesses. Even if we have different diagnoses, circumstances and potential “cures,” many of our struggles are similar. If you’d like to host it on your blog sometime, read the details and send Dr. Del an e-mail message.

Carnival of Compassion #18

This week’s Carnival of Compassion is now up on A Revision. Many of the blogs that Carol includes are related to depression, which isn’t a foreign concept to headache sufferers.

I’m Still Here

Hi all. I haven’t felt much like blogging the last week. There’s not much news and nothing I write seems coherent. If I still don’t feel blogworthy tomorrow, I’ll post a list with summaries of the links I’ve been planning to write about. In the meantime, make sure to introduce yourselves to the new blogs mentioned in this week’s Carnival of Compassion.

I hope you’re all doing well. I’ll be back in the grove tomorrow.

Carnival of Compassion #17

Trying to Catch Up hosts the 17th edition of the Carnival of Compassion this week. The categories Barbara covers are established and newly created patient blogs, medical advances and technology, and caregiver blogs. All the patient and caregiver blogs are new to me, so I’m excited about adding more blogs to my Bloglines.
