The Daily Headache’s founder, Kerrie is a writer, patient advocate, and small business owner who has had chronic migraine for nearly 40 years. In 2005, she started The Daily Headache as a creative outlet when she became too sick to work. What began as a way to share her journey quickly became a connection to incredible people who are working hard to live the best lives they can despite their illnesses.

Her advocacy passions are to write about the emotional experience of living with chronic illness and to translate medical research to make it understandable to the general public.

In addition to her work on The Daily Headache, Kerrie has worked with a number of organizations to advance migraine advocacy and is the cofounder of TheraSpecs, which makes precision-tinted glasses for light sensitivity management.

Kerrie lives in Phoenix, Arizona, and spends as much time as she can in Seattle. She enjoys spending time outdoors, baking, reading, and playing tabletop games.
